Max was showing off for the camera. He was out helping getting a neighbor parked in the camping area of the grounds. |

Hershey
After finding out a bit about our duties here at York for the Rally, we headed off to Hershey! Here is the entrance to Hershey World. |
The ride through the mock factory was narrated partly by the cows....that provide the MILK in milk chocolate. |
More of our talking cows on the ride. |
Here we are at the end of the ride. |

Indy
Walking the Fairgrounds on Friday night
Nice covered bridge. We drive under it to leave the grounds in the car. There is a tunnel exit.....not tall enough for the campers.
Opps the picture from the last post was not a shamrock/clover. Here is the true info. Found this at the nature center in Pokagon before we left on Friday.
Will try for a better picture later this week. Saw these exercising as we went to church service this morning. ..... Look up the Singing Auctioneer's website. Super voice.
Jelly roll race quilt top. I like it a bit better in person. Colors work. I may have to split up and add borders for a baby quilt or add lots of borders for a bigger throw.
Same fabric line as above from Connecting Threads..maybe summer batiks. 10" squares sewn together. Not sure how I will finish the top but it is this far. Sewed on it yesterday after returning from the Sewing Expo that was in Indy.
Yes that is the moon over the Fairgrounds structure. Beautiful night for a walk.
Last night we missed walking but we did have dinner with Dan and Patty Johnson from the Sunny Memories club.
This afternoon Jerry is off golfing and I am off to promote the Cardinal chapter at the chapter fair.
Thought we might have someone interested since we are so close to our chapter area.
No sewing for me YET! We'll see how long I am at the chapter fair. Which is in the 4-H Exhibition Building.
Happy Trails to all!

sand sculpture on the beach Pokagon State Park, Angola, IN And we thought we were just walking down to look a the lake. |
A flock of swans swimming just off the beach area. Beautiful fowl.
For Carla
There were along the trail back from the beach.
Picture taking gave me a reason to stop and catch my breath!
Nice bridge work.
We go under this going in and out of the campground. Took this out the top of the car the angle isn't really this skewed.
We explored the park today mostly from the car. But the saddle horses caught my eye, just might have to go back tomorrow for a ride. They are beautiful animals.
The toboggan ride looks fun......of course, it does not open until after Thanksgiving and I don't think I want to get out in the cold to take that ride.
The Inn has a beautiful view of Lake James. We will stop in there tomorrow as well as hopefully take some of the trails.
We took a long tour around the area today trying to figure out how to get on I-69 on Friday morning when we leave. As we came back into the park the ranger told us to just go North a little farther than we did today and there is an entrance to 69. Well duh. Should have looked a bit closer at the lake.
Before we left, we put all the fabric purchases from the warehouse into the wood tote in the back of the camper. The batting box will not fit there but we got a bunch out of the car anyway and the smaller sacks that were in the camper went out there too. Thinks look a bit more organized again.
Looking forward to another day in the country. Friday will find us in the oval at the fairgrounds.
The fire has been started so I am going out to enjoy it.
Ta Ta!
