HOME SWEET HOME

We spent the night at Tin Cup RV Park, and with the weather I never found out what prompted them to name the park.  So that will have to be a research project for a later date.

Travel home on Friday was uneventful and we had beautiful Indiana weather.

We arrived in Scottsburg around 1:30 so we were off the road before the worst of the holiday weekend traffic started.  As we were turning into Oak Street, Nancy and Ron came up along side us as they were headed into town.  Now we live in this town all the time and it is a rare thing to see one another on the road and there they were!  How nice.  So they stopped by when they finished what they were doing in town.

Friday Night Fish Fry in Scottsburg.  Attended by Keith and Becky, Rick and Sandi, Nancy and Ron, and us.
How much nicer could a trip end!

Keith and Jerry had golfed in the afternoon and they golfed again this morning.

Me, I have the garage floor covered in laundry and have started making my way through the piles.  The kitties and I have gone out in the backyard for a spell this afternoon.  Felicia decided to go back in while I watched the other two to make sure they didn't cross the fence.

While we have been gone Miss Kitty the neighborhood kitty that has been here for more than 13 years passed away.  John made sure she had a good resting place.  She was an amazing kitty to have survived outside on her own all these years.  Most other things in the neighborhood seem to have remained the same.  However, the approach to Oak Street from 56 sure has changed.  Two houses and woods....gone!  More commercial ventures coming.  We haven't read the papers to see what is happening there but I am sure we'll find out soon enough.

Take care all.  Thanks for checking on us during our trip and saying prayers for safe travel.
We have had a GREAT Trip!

Jerry and Pat
