On the Road AGAIN!

No pictures yet.
We are in Cassville, GA  about 60 miles north of Atlanta just off I-75.  It is a KOA campground.  We would recommend it for anyone going along this route.  Great sites and oh so quiet even though we are just a short distance off the interstate.

We are traveling with Keith and Becky.  We are NOT traveling together as going down the road behind each other but we are staying at the same campgrounds and will tour Savannah and Charleston together.  The boys are hoping to get in some golfing while escaping from some of the tourist things.  We hope they go with us on some of the trip so we don't hear:  "I wish I had seen that."

I am looking forward to visiting with a friend that I worked with in my McKesson days.  He lives near Charleston.

Today's ride was beautiful.  We had a little bit of wind but not much at all.  God is good.  Other than for work commitments we would have been trying to drive in horrible weather that was all across our route yesterday.  Today the skies were blue with whispy clouds.  We got through three major cities with nothing more than a short slowdown in one of them.

Keith and Becky fixed the main courses of dinner and we added appetiser and dessert.

What a wonderful end to a perfect travel day.  Tomorrow it is through Atlanta and then a left at Macon...I think.  The navigator keeps me on the right roads.   And even he didn't need a map today.

The dogwoods are in full bloom here in GA.  The redbuds were beautiful throughout Tenn, but we noticed them mostly along I-24 after we left Nashville,

Fuel prices:  It is great for us to be following Becky when she can scout out the best fuel prices for us as.  She found us a 3.45 per gallon just out of Nashville.

Take care.
