A private garden on the way to the Mrs. Wilks boarding house for lunch.  We arrived about 9:45 and stood in line (well Keith and Pat stood while Jerry and Becky did some more touring).  Boarding house served family style.  As we were seated in groups of ten the fried chicken and side dishes were already on the table.  I don't think I have ever been at a table or even a buffet with as many side dishes.  All southern style and all good.  Even the rutabagas were good.  I did skip the okra and the greens.  It was banana pudding or peaches for dessert!  I don't think we will need much food the rest of the day.  We were there early enough to be in the first seating...well actually the third table to be seated at the 11 a.m. serving.  Don't go without cash it is all they take.
Out front while awaiting the opening of the boarding house,

Tybee Island Light House.  178 steps to the top.  You notice the picture is taken from the bottom not the top.  Plus there were no public restrooms.  Surely they did not expect me to stand in line to pay $8 to get inside to use a restroom before walking those 178 steps.  Nope....drank too much sweet tea at the boarding house for that long line.

Drove back to the campground on US 80 and 17.  This was one of the houses along that route.  We drove through a long, long stretch of road that had the trees covering the roadway so it was like driving trough a beautiful tunnel.

This fountain was at the end of the beautiful drive

It is past time for a long nap after all that food at lunch time and running around in HOT somewhat humid air.  The guys are watching the Master's Golf Tournament on TV.  It is really not too far from where we are but very comfortable to watch it from the couches rather than to be standing on the course.

Good Afternoon!  Have a great Friday afternoon/evening.  Tomorrow we are packing it up again and moving a couple hours north to Charleston.  Looking forward to seeing Donald again and he is sharing his barbecue place with us.  It will be a great day.

May God Bless!
