A day in Redmond OR at the camper

Here is the view from the right side of the camper.  Mt. Jefferson 10K elevation and about 50 miles from our location.

We picked up our welcome packet from the office this morning and got the name of a RV Repair fellow.  This afternoon about four he arrived and we now do not have to climb into the camper but have steps that work.  Motor had to be replaced.   He was surprised when I got under the camper to see what he was talking about.  :)

We also had a couple people look at the windshield ding and may get it patched tomorrow.  Must call the insurance people to see for sure what our coverage is for windshields.

Jerry and I both took naps in the chairs outside this afternoon.  Yesterdays travels seemed to catch up with us both.  I finished the The Lost Quilter this afternoon and did some hand quilting on a small quilt  Jerry finished another book too.

We did a lot of walking around the fairgrounds after dinner tonight.  When the coach displays open it will be fun to see the new ones.  They are all in the open air unlike the Rally in Louisville.  We skipped the entertainment tonight since we saw the movie they were showing while we were in Dale Hollow with the Cardinal group.  Lucille Ball in The Long, Long Trailer.

Temperatures here fluctuate.  I have on long pants tonight and needed them in the morning too.  We have had a constant wind today and even during the day sleeveless tops required being in the sun to stay warm but shorts came out and were necessary after about 10 in the morning.

Off to fix some hot chocolate!
